Cosmic Bowling

After a day of sunning yourselves under the hot Okanagan sun, head indoors and relax in a dark, air-conditioned alley. McCurdy Bowling is offering cosmic bowling every Friday and Saturday night.

Artsy Sundays

Do your littles love hands-on activities? The Kelowna Art Gallery is open to all members of the family every Sunday. Here you’ll get to experience arts and crafts, helpful instruction, and age-appropriate activities. Each Sunday features a different theme, like repurposed postcard collages, watercolour painting, and dip-dyed tote bags.

Cool Car Show

If you find yourselves staying at a hotel in Kelowna during Father’s Day weekend, you may want to check out the Annual Boyd Autobody & Glass Father’s Day Charity Car Show. Besides endless rows of beautiful cars (and boats and trucks and motorcycles!), this event also promises live entertainment and a Kids Zone.

The Farmers' Market

The Kelowna Farmers & Crafters Market is the perfect place to spend a day wandering through booths offering everything from live music to fresh produce to handmade gifts and crafts. If you’re staying at a hotel in Kelowna on June 22, head to the market which will be celebrating their 24^th birthday with cupcakes, balloons, and so much more.

Canada Day in Kelowna

Each year, Downtown Kelowna is home to an annual, free community festival. Celebrate Canada Day – Kelowna offers cake, concerts, 18 different food vendors, a bazaar, marketplace, and oodles more. There are tons of activities for kids too. If you’re lucky enough to be staying in Kelowna on July 1, this event is an absolute must-do.

The Block Party

On July 13, visitors and locals will flood Downtown Kelowna to experience culture, art, food, shopping and entertainment. Bernard Avenue will be closed to traffic, so party-goers can experience everything the event has to offer. Whether you’re looking to enjoy live music or a quick bite, the Downtown Kelowna Block Party is an excellent choice for every member of the family.

Ciderfest

Although an event called Ciderfest may seem like an adult-only affair, it’s not. Big White Ski Resort puts on this well-attended event annually, and visitors of every age are in attendance. Besides booths offering some of the Okanagan’s best ciders, there’s also live entertainment, an apple bobbing station, a craft market, oversized games. Plus, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
